Anonymous has claimed responsibility for an attack on the US State Department and some associated organizations. The leaked data includes names and emails of staffers.

At the same time, the website of George K. Baum & Company (an investment firm) was defaced and spruced up with a link that revealed user account credentials/passwords, phone numbers, and transaction histories.

The statement from Anonymous references the unfortunate story of Aaron Swartz as an inspiration for the attack, as well as revenge for LulzSec arrests.
